Hatha is a branch of yoga which uses physical techniques to preserve and channel the vital force or energy. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means "force" thus alluding to a system of physical techniques.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.
Yin It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians.
By intentionally changing our breathing pattern, we’ll reach an altered state of consciousness and travel into a deeper dimension of the present moment. Breathwork is used as therapeutic practice as well as spiritual development and allows us to be our own healer. We will discover how we can use our breath to get in touch with our pure essence, connect with our inner wisdom and live in a loving awareness. We will be able to uncover and let go of past events and feelings that limit us. We will experience different kinds of breathwork Rebirthing, Shamanic breathwork, and Wim Hof techniques.
Through various activities we will become more able to see how attached we are to our mind's patterns & behavior. Through building this awareness we'll be able to break it and find sustainable inner peace.
Dancing is an easy way to reach out to our body and make a deeper, more aware and more intuitive contact with it. When we dance we can be brought into a “trance” as if we were completely somewhere else. Like a dynamic meditation, it facilitates the release of stuck energy. Moreover, dancing with others opens us to a new way to connect and to communicate. Through listening and trust between partners we develop empathy and compassion.
The practice is based on a simple technique of freestyle walking that allows us to observe the constant falling asleep and awakening of the mind back to the present moment. We will learn the art of quiet and objective observation, and be able to apply it to our daily lives. When we are able to observe our inner narrative it begins to lose its power over us, and we can raise our quality of life by gaining both strength and flexibility of thought. We don’t force the peace, we let it appear by itself.
Let's make the best of the relationship we have with our parents by understanding the parental mechanisms in action and where do they come from in order to detach ourselves from them and make the most of it. This will allow us to break the spread of these deeply entrenched family behavior patterns and heal from it.
Law of mirroring:
When we are working on our personal growth, we tend to focus excessively on ourself. However, by taking a step back and understanding the relation that we have with our environnement, and what we see in others reveals sacred information about who we are ourselves. This psychological projection we do all the time with other is a defense mechanism by which we attribute unacceptable feelings, thoughts, beliefs or even actions of our own to others.
Inner child reconnection:
Our “inner child” is a part of our subconscious that has been picking up messages way before it was able to fully process what was going on (mentally and emotionally). It holds emotions, memories and beliefs from the past as well as hopes and dreams for the future. To heal we have to be in peace and work hand by hand with this part of us.
Locally sourced vegetarian/vegan meals will be served each day, and in the morning, juices related to the chakras will be offered.
We will be staying at Samadhi Sacred Valley retreat center, located in the middle of a natural environment, surrounded by mountains. Our retreat center maintains traditional practices and ancient culture that you can see throughout the venue.
This ceremony opens the heart through the use of cacao. Cacao helps the body to heal, detoxify and to give your immune system a strong boost. The experience of raw chocolate within a cacao ceremony can also assist in gaining clarity in the areas of love, purpose, intuitive abilities and personal growth. Traditionally Cacao was used by the Maya and Ancient Aztec civilization.
We want you to fall in love with yoga, seamlessly integrating it into your lifestyle back at home. We ask that you fulfill integration hours after your time with us to fully complete the training. Integration hours include personal practice, teaching others, or attending yogic classes.
HĀ means “breath of life” in Hawaiian. Yoga means “union” in Sanskrit. Combining conscious breathing with asana (poses) helps us develop a greater capacity to receive this breath of life.

• Asana (Posture for meditation)
