Training Overview

Living Meditation: A 7-Day Meditation Teacher Training

Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider | 50-Hour Certification

This is not a retreat from life. It is an arrival into life as it truly is, vivid, spontaneous, and utterly ungraspable. The "Living" Meditation 50-Hour Teacher Training is not an escape, but a homecoming. Set upon the western shore of Phu Quoc Island, where the ocean breathes with the sky, you are invited not to seek, but to see. Not to do, but to be.

Each morning is an unfolding of silence. As the sun stirs the horizon and the sea carries in its breath, you begin with Yin, a soft surrender into stillness. There is no ambition here. The body opens not to achieve, but to remember.

As midday arrives, the sun’s presence intensifies. Bring your long sleeves, your wide-brimmed hat, and sun protection. We don’t shelter from the elements, we bow to them. The wind, the warmth, the sound, they are not obstacles to presence. They are invitations. Between sessions, you’re welcome to refresh in the swimming pool, clear, cool, and open to the sky.

Throughout the day, awareness is explored through silent sitting, walking meditation, and sound. You will be guided in the art of Awareness Meditation, not as a technique, but as a way of being. In these sessions, thoughts are not enemies; they are clouds in a sky that never moves.

In the evenings, the smooth tones of the Native Flute invite you into deep listening. Each note dissolves the boundary between sound and silence, self and space. This is not performance, it is presence, expressed in vibration. The sound becomes your guide, and your listening becomes the meditation.

This training will not teach you to meditate. It will remind you that you already are. Awareness is not a goal. It is your nature. Meditation is not an act. It is life, lived without resistance. And as a small gesture to honor your path, each participant will receive a special gift, your own yoga mat, to ground your practice, here and wherever life takes you next.

Features

Type: YACEP 50HR Meditation Teacher Training

Duration: 6 Nights / 7 Days

Location: Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Styles: Awareness Meditation, Yin Yoga

Skill Level: Open to all

Description

Awareness Meditation
Sit not to reach, but to return. This is not a technique, but a remembrance. Thought may arise like ripples, but beneath them: stillness. You need not chase peace. Let it find you in the space you no longer guard.

Sound Meditation with Native Flute
Breath becomes tone. Tone becomes silence. Let the sound of the Native Flute carry you into listening so deep, the self dissolves. The music does not entertain, it reveals.

Yin Yoga
Long-held postures soften the veil. No effort. No goal. Just a returning to the sacred simplicity of being.

Meditation Through Life

Living Meditation is not about a method, it’s about surrender. Every breath, every ocean wave, every barefoot walk along the shoreline is part of your practice. We won’t ask you to leave life behind; we’ll invite you to welcome it all in.

You’ll learn how to turn the distractions of life into the very fuel for awareness. Every moment, from the lapping tide to the buzz of scooters, becomes your teacher.

Spontaneity as the Teacher

This isn’t about silence or stillness in a vacuum, it’s about presence in motion. Whether swimming in the sea, journaling under palm trees, or sipping tea as the sun drops into the water, you’ll learn to trust the unfolding moment as your meditation. Life becomes the curriculum.

True Meditation as Living

You won’t just sit, you’ll walk, move, speak, and teach from presence. Whether you’re watching the sunrise or immersed in a conversation, your practice lives through you.

Benefits

  • Embodied Presence: Meditation isn’t about escaping to some mental state. It’s about bringing full presence into every moment. Through surrendering to life as it comes, you’ll discover peace, not as some distant goal, but as something that you live in each breath, each step.

  • Art of Flow: Stop trying to control everything. Let go. This training will show you how to stop “trying” to meditate and start living your practice. Life is flowing, and when you learn to let go and ride it, you tap into something deeper, an awareness that has no limits.

  • Teaching From the Heart: As your own practice deepens, teaching meditation will become less about techniques and more about your presence. When you share from your heart, you’re not teaching a method, you’re embodying a way of life. True meditation teaching comes from being, not from knowing.

What Makes This Retreat Special

Living in the Moment

This training is an invitation into life’s raw beauty, not its curated highlights. You’ll face yourself, not in isolation, but through full connection with everything around you. Life becomes your temple.

Personalized Attention

Small groups ensure intimate, personalized guidance. Daily sharing circles foster community and depth. You won’t just gain knowledge, you’ll be seen, heard, and supported.

Guide

In 2004, Wolf Kinsmen began practicing meditation, breathwork, and yoga, eventually guiding international teacher trainings, certifying 73 teachers, and founding Tree Yoga, a Yoga Alliance-certified school.

His nomadic lifestyle led him to study with global masters. He trained directly with Wim Hof, became a certified freediver and Native American flute instructor, and studied coaching at the Tony Robbins Coaching School.

Wolf explored shamanism with Don Howard and the Shipibo tribe in Peru, led ceremonies, and studied Dzogchen meditation at a Tibetan monastery in Nepal.

Wolf’s message: Let go of what you think reality is and feel the flow of reality as it is.
