Meditative "Ocean Prana" Retreat- Atolls, Maldives: November 18-24, 2026

CONTACT

Retreat Overview

When we step onto the Maavahi in the middle of the Indian Ocean, we enter a laboratory of the soul. There is nowhere to hide. There is nothing to find. Everything is already here.

The water does not try to be the water. It simply flows. When we submerge, we are not visiting the ocean; we are returning to the source. The salt on your skin is the same salt in your blood. The rhythm of the tide is the same rhythm of your heart. To swim is to remember that the boundary between the "inner" and the "outer" is a thin veil.

This is a 7-day, 6-night invitation to listen. We move through the atolls of Male, Vaavu, and Ari, but the real journey happens in the quiet arrival of this breath. Just as it is.

Features

Duration: 6 Nights / 7 Days

Location: Atolls (Male, Vaavu, and Ari), Maldives.

The Vessel: Maavahi. An 85ft full-service sanctuary with 15 years of experience.

Setting: A moving temple with two decks. One shaded for cool rest. One open to the sky for light.

Intimacy: A maximum of 10 souls. We keep the group small so the space remains yours.

Curriculum

The Breath (Prana): Not a chore. A bridge. We play with the calm of the water and the heat of the inner fire.

The Yoga (Asana): Authentic flow. This is not about the shape of the body, but the state of the being. We move to notice the life-force that has always been here.

The Sound (Nada): Restorative journeys. The Native American flute bypasses the head and speaks to the heart.

The Immersion (Water): Daily snorkeling and fun diving. We are participants in the reef, not tourists. We learn from the stillness of the turtle and the presence of the ray.

Daily Schedule

The rhythm is a suggestion, not a demand. You have the freedom to choose. Practice when you feel called. Sleep when you need rest. The ocean is always there.

06:00 AM – Morning Prana. Wake with the sun for meditation and yoga if it feels right.

08:00 AM – Nourishment. Fresh fruit and local flavors.

10:00 AM – Island Time. Cruising to sandbanks. Snorkeling and fun diving are available daily.

12:00 PM – Midday Grounding. Wholesome buffet.

02:00 PM – The Deep Work. Sharing circles or quiet reflection.

05:00 PM – Sunset Immersion. Breathwork and flute as the sky changes colors.

07:00 PM – Starlight Dining. A meal shared under the stars.

Nourishment

Three nourishing buffet meals daily. Water, tea, and coffee are always available. Food is an offering, crafted to support your clarity and energy without complication.

What Makes This Retreat Special

Total Freedom: This is your journey. If you want to dive all morning and skip a session, do that. If you want to sit in silence on the deck, do that. The "work" is listening to what you actually need.

Guidance from Stillness: Led by a teacher with 22 years of path-walking. Not as a job, but as a way of being.

The Truth Within: Inspired by the ancient wisdom of Patanjali, we move past the fluctuations of the mind (citta vrtti) to settle into our true nature.

The Native Flute: Live vibration weaving sound and silence. It reminds you of the song you already know.

The permission to do nothing.

Location

The Central Atolls. Male, Vaavu, and Ari. This is the geographic and spiritual heart of the Maldives a, constellation of coral jewels scattered across a canvas of infinite blue.

The water here is a spectrum of absolute clarity. It moves from the pale turquoise of shallow sandbanks to the soulful sapphire of the deep. In Vaavu, the rawest part of the central chain, we find unbroken reefs and vast horizons where the ocean feels most alive. In Ari, underwater pinnacles rise like sunken cathedrals. These are the ancient playgrounds for whale sharks and the rhythmic dance of manta rays.

Between these atolls lie the sandbanks. They are ephemeral slivers of white silk that appear and vanish with the tide. To stand on one is to experience a silence so profound it can only be found at the edge of the world. This is not just a destination. It is an open cathedral of the elements.

Visa Information

Most get a free 30-day visa on arrival. Check your passport has 6 months left. Simple.

Who Can Attend

This is for the seeker who is tired of seeking. For the one who realizes that "bettering" yourself is just another way of running away from yourself.

You do not need to be fixed. You do not need to be "good" at yoga or swimming. You only need to be willing to sit with the truth of the present moment. Whether you are carrying a heavy heart or a curious spirit, there is room for you here.

The ocean does not judge the waves. It holds them all.

Sit down. Rest. Remember. If a quiet feeling inside says yes, the Way has already begun.

It is here. It is now. It is yourself.
